Straw made his announcement in response to a decision from the information tribunal, which last month ordered the publication of the minutes of two cabinet meetings (13 and 17 March 03). It's the first time the government has used its power to veto the release of documents under the FoI.

やった! The meetings on 13 and 17 March considered the issue of whether the invasion was allowed under international law. Lord Goldsmith initially suggested the legality of the invasion was legally questionable before issuing legal advice saying that it would be compatible with international law.
