Swift lacks a number of reflection capabilities that Objective-C developers have come to depend on. APIs like NSClassFromString and respondsToSelector: currently have no native equivalent in Swift. A lot of introspection tasks can still be accomplished when working with Objective-C derived classes but for the most part it feels a bit unnatural and obviously it would be ideal to have native support
