ブロッコリー、小売り事業から撤退 店舗をアニメイトに譲渡
ブロッコリーは3月30日、リテール（小売り）事業から撤退すると発表した。「アニブロゲーマーズ」16店舗と通販サイトを含む同事業を、店舗を共同運営してきたアニメイトに6月1日付けで譲渡する。小売り事業は営業赤字が続いており、市場の先行きも不透明なことから、今後はカードゲームなどに集中して「コンテンツ＆リアルグッズメーカーとして再起を図る」としている。 アニブロゲーマーズ16店舗とゲーマーズ通信販売を含む同事業を、アニメイトに約2億5000万円で譲渡する。両社は2008年に資本・業務提携し、アニメイトはブロッコリーに出資した上でアニブロゲーマーズ店舗を共同で展開してきた。アニメイトとは今後も提携関係を維持する。 同事業は2010年2月期まで3期累計の売上高207億100万円に対し、7億1400万円の営業赤字。船橋・岡山店の閉店や池袋店・津田沼店の新規出店といったスクラップ＆ビルドなどを進めてき
