明け方ぼんやりしていていて、ふと、"government of the people, by the people, for the people"の定訳、「人民の人民による人民のための政治」（参照）が誤訳なんじゃないか。なんで「人民」なんだ？と思った。the peopleは、単純な話、「国民」でしょ。 日本だと、日本国があって、国民がいて、政府がある。で、この、"government of the people, by the people, for the people"というのは、政府というもの性質が、"of the people"国民に所属する、"by the people"国民が運営する（たぶん委託する）、"for the people"受益者は国民である、ということなんじゃないか。 もう随分前になるが、「極東ブログ: 試訳憲法前文、ただし直訳風」（参照）を書いたことがあるのだが
