3D都市モデルが実装されることで、未来はどのような展望を見せるのか。 インタビューやレポートを通じて、多角的な視点で3D都市モデル、そしてPLATEAUのさまざまな可能性を読み解きます。
前回このコラムで紹介した、国土交通省が主導する3D都市モデルの整備プロジェクト「Project PLATEAU(プラトー)」の記事には大きな反響があった。多くの読者が、PLATEAUが持つポテンシャルに気づいてくれたのだと思う。 PLATEAUの3D都市モデルは、専用サイトで一部公開が始まっている(https://www.mlit.go.jp/plateau/)。Webベースのビューワー「PLATEAU VIEW(プラトービュー)」(ベータ版)を使えば、誰でも見られる。関心がある人は、ぜひ体験してほしい。 一例として前回は、PLATEAUの電子地図が備える「建物の高さ」という意味情報(セマンティック)と、河川が氾濫したときの浸水ランクを示したハザードマップの情報を重ねたケースを取り上げた。建物の高さといった意味情報を、PLATEAUでは「CityGML」という記述言語で書き込んでいる。 今

ハイチ地震の全容が次第に明らかになってきている。それと同時に、衛星観測によるデータが出てきている。1月14日夜の時点で確認できているのが、日本のJAXAのALOS(だいち)、アメリカの商用衛星Geoeyeの画像である。色々な面で違いが分かりやすいので紹介する。 1.
