モジラ、「Prism 1.0」を公開--ウェブアプリをデスクトップに統合
ウェブアプリケーションをデスクトップアプリケーションとして利用できるようにするMozilla Labsの「Prism」が、バージョン1.0になった。Mozillaは米国時間5月8日、専用ウェブサイトを設けて「Prism 1.0」をリリースするとともに、開発者がウェブアプリケーションにPrism専用の機能を追加できるAPIのアップデート版を公開した。 Prism 1.0には、システムトレイのアイコンを通じた通知、アプリケーション固有の設定や自動更新など、便利な機能がいくつか加わった。「Firefox」と同じように、閲覧履歴のほかユーザーネームやパスワードといった個人情報も消去できるようになった。Prismで工夫されているのは、アプリケーションごとに情報を消去できる点で、1つのアプリケーションで個人情報を消去しても、Prismを介してアクセスした他のサイトには影響しない。 PrismがいずれF
