1970年代初頭に西ドイツの伝説的ロックバンドCanのボーカリストとして活躍し、「Tago Mago」「Ege Bamyasi」「Future Days」といったアルバムに参加した鈴木。独自の即興的歌唱法で知られる彼は、バンド脱退後、自身のライブ音楽プロジェクト「Damo Suzuki’s Network」を立ち上げ、世界各国のさまざまなミュージシャンと即興ライブを行ってきた。 2度のがんを克服し、活動を続けてきた鈴木。彼と親交の深かった田畑満（ZZZoo、20 Guilders、ex.ZENI GEVA、ex.ハナタラシ、ex.
