jig.jpは1月23日、Android向けのソーシャルコミュニケーションアプリ「jigloco(ジグロコ)」ベータ版を公開した。 jiglocoは、GPSを利用してFacebook上の友達と現在位置を共有したり、あいさつのような気軽なコミュニケーションをしたりできる常駐型のAndroid向けアプリ。利用は無料だが、Facebookのアカウントが必要となる。 jiglocoを起動すると、ユーザーとそのFacebook上の友人の現在位置を地図上にマッピングして表示する。友人が近くにいたり、すれ違ったりした際や、友人同士が集まっている際は、ユーザーに通知してくれる。 ユーザーは、自身のステータスを短いテキストで紹介する「つぶやきあいさつ」や、自分が忙しいのか、暇なのかという「ひま度」を表示可能。また、マップ上の友人には、定型文やフリーテキストであいさつなどを送信できるため、近場に暇な友人を見つ
