    【ニューデリー＝武石英史郎】バングラデシュからの報道によると、同国の首都ダッカ郊外の大規模繊維工場で１４日、火災が起き、少なくとも２５人が死亡、１００人以上が負傷した。工場は１０階建てで、１万３千人が働いていた。逃げ遅れた社員が高層階から飛び降りたり、出口に殺到して負傷したりしたという。当局が出火原因を調べている。 　同国では、東部チッタゴンの輸出加工区で１２日、賃上げを求める繊維労働者のデモに対し、治安部隊が発砲し、４人が死亡、２００人以上が負傷する事件があったばかり。１３日には、火災があったダッカの工場付近にもデモが広がり、道路をふさぐなどしていた。デモ参加者は全土で１万人以上とみられ、混乱が広がっていた。 　バングラデシュの賃金は世界最低水準にあるため、欧米の量販店や日本のユニクロなどが委託生産を拡大、中国に続く繊維加工の拠点として注目を集めている。
