以前、米Lifehackerでは、時間ごとの地球の画像をLinuxの壁紙にする方法を、ご紹介しました。それをWindowsで使用する方法もありましたが、スクリプト処理が必要だったので、パスした方もいるかと思います。今回は、そのような方々へ、スクリプト処理のいらなくなった、Windows用の『Desktop Earth』をご紹介します。 Desktop Earthは、NASAから提供されている地球の写真を、自動的にダウンロードしてくれる、小さなシステムトレイユーティリティです。以前までのバージョンが、インターバルをおいて画像をダウンロードしていたのに対し、今回のプログラムは、雲がかっているか否か、どの国の時間のものを表示するか、画像がどこにセンタリングされるかなどの、指定ができます。 タスクバーで稼働するプログラムにもかかわらず、システムリソースをあまり消費しないのも魅力です。スクリプトやコ
