私はよく「コンテンツがない。壊れている。」と主張していますが、人によっては「既に自分たちには素晴らしいコンテンツがある。アピールするための素材もたくさん用意されている。」と考える方もいると思います。しかし、それは利用者からの視点からすればコンテンツでも何でもないノイズということもあります。 昨年末から全国で開催しているマルチデバイスを見据えたコンテンツ設計講座で、企業は的外れなコンテンツを出していることを事例を挙げながら紹介しています。クオリティの高い写真、映像、文章が使われているものの、中身は利用者のことを優先していない自己中心なメッセージばかりということがあります。残念ながら企業 Web サイトの大半はそんなところが多かったりします。 上記は Break Up という、広告主と消費者の関係を人間関係に見立てて表現した 2007 年のビデオです。以下、簡単にやりとりを抜粋しておきますが、
