実はedgyになってから、ハイバネートができなくなっていた。Software Suspend2が使われるようになったからだ。(Software Suspend2はfglrxと相性が悪く、resume時にXが復帰しない。fglrxは相性問題を起こしやすいな…。)Software Suspendに戻すためにはカーネルをビルドしなおさねばならないような気がする。それはめんどくさい。 めんどくさいし、そんなに困ってないし、そもそもこのノートPC(ThinkPad T60)は来年3月までしか使えないし、という事で、ハイバネートはあきらめていたのだが、uswsuspが新しくなっていたので、ちょっと試してみた。 結論から行くと、ちゃんとresumeできた。すばらしい。しかもハイバネートに30秒もかからない。 というわけで、なんかSoftware Suspend2が動かねぇなぁ、というような場合は、usw
