おととい、アメリカからの日本の地震への寄付先の一つに赤十字をあげたところ、「アメリカ赤十字はいろいろスキャンダルがあるが」というコメントを頂いた。ので、追加情報。基本的には、私はOKだと思ってるし、自分も寄付した。 アメリカ赤十字への批判はいろいろあって 災害があるたびに大量な寄付を集めるが、その災害向けに使い切れてない また、災害地の人にばらまいてるケースも マネジメントの給料高過ぎ といったところがメジャーなところではないかと。(2番目は9-11の時に批判された。ニューヨーク、お金持ち多いので。） ・・・ではあるものの、トータルで見ると、それなりにきちんと運営されているし、総合的な国際的災害援助活動をしている団体は数少なく、代替が思いつかない、というのが正直なところ。こちらのCharity NavigatorというNPOの評価をするNPO（ややこしい）のサイトを見てみると、Red Cr
