2017年3月に、フランスで最も権威ある新聞ル・モンドにて、まるまる3ページにわたって、日本で暮らす在日コリアンや朝鮮学校の状況に関する特集が載ったようです(記事原文はこちら)。 最近になって、この記事のためにインタビューを受けたとある方から、「フランス語で書かれていて内容をまだ読めていないから、訳してほしい」と言われたので、日本語に全訳しました。 そしてせっかくなので、その要約をこのブログにも載せたいと思います。 いくつか事実関係の間違い(朝鮮籍=北朝鮮国籍とするなど)も含んでいるようですが、しかしここまで紙面を割いて海外(この場合は日本)のエスニック・マイノリティ(民族的少数者)の事例を特集するなんて、とても意欲的でクールですね。 日本の新聞も、3ページ丸ごと使って、「フランスのユダヤ人特集!」「イギリスのイスラーム教徒特集!」とか載せて欲しいものです。 内容に関してですが、日本の新聞
