表参道GYRE（ジャイル）3階EYE OF GYREにて開催中の 「Tweet Me Love, Sputniko!」展に行って来ました。 大きな企画展だと足掛け何年もかけ、やっと開催までこぎ着けます。現代アーティストの個展だって孫さんのように「やりましょう！」の一声でそうそう始められるものではありません。 会場決めたり、具体的なキュレーション、それにチラシやポスター制作、はたまた広報活動等など、基本的に時間がいくらあっても足りないのが常。 そんな常識を打ち破った展覧会（個展）が今回のスプツニ子「Tweet Me Love, Sputniko!」です。Twitter（ツイッター）のやり取りから誕生した展覧会なのです。 以下リリースより。今回は、スプツニ子！がツイッターで呼びかけて集まった「スプ子LOVE!」なボランティアスタッフ達がスプツニ子！の作品と展覧会をオープンソース化し、スプツニ子

先週の週末に思いつきで、こんなものをでっち上げました。その名もPrintwitts！ Twitterのプリンター直結クライアントってところですかね。A4のプリンターとかじゃなくて、感熱のロール紙に出てくるってのがミソ。たらたらと長い紙に延々印刷されていくのがなんだか楽しいです。印刷時の音でつぶやきがあったのもすぐに分かるので、手元において置けばコンピュータの画面をいじらずにすぐに読めますし、留守中や就寝中にどれだけつぶやきがあったのかも一目瞭然。つぶやきが貯まってても、パシッと切って持っていけば電車の中でも読めちゃいます。 今のところMac上でアプリケーションが動いていて、USB接続のレシートプリンターが印刷していますが、今回はQtとlibusbを使ったので、移植性もバッチリなハズ。 UStreamでライブストリームも流しているので、アクセスしてみてください。内容が読めちゃうと困るので、敢
