明和電機のライブは、その規模によって「松・竹・梅」の３つのコースがある。梅コースがもっとも小さいサイズで、「社長ひとりが持ち運びできる楽器で、ライブをする」というもの。 梅コース、たとえるならば「敵国にひとりでひそかに侵入し、ミッションを遂行して、帰国する」という、ミッションインポッシブルみたいなものです。とにかく「ひとりでなんとかする」というコース。 「松」とか「竹」などの他のコースは、工員さんや出演者も多いので、なんとなく「バンド感覚」であり、ミスがあってもみんなでカバーできるが、この「梅コース」だけは、ミス（機材故障など）があれば、即、「死」になる。なので、とて緊張するし、サバイバル感もあって、トム・クルーズの気持ちがよくわかる。 ただ、この緊張感はけっこう好きで、最小の機材で知恵をしぼって３０分ステージをもたせるというのは、ミニマルで、明和電機のステージの原点みたいものを感じるので
