Generating fantasy maps
mewo2.com is the website of Martin O'Leary artist, designer, teacher, researcher These are some notes on how I generate the maps for my Twitter bot @unchartedatlas, which is based on a generator I originally produced during NaNoGenMo 2015. ファンタジーに出てくる謎の大陸の地図を自動的に作成できる「Generating fantasy maps」
ファンタジーの世界を舞台にした映画や小説には必ずといっていいほど架空世界の地図が登場し、その地図を見ているだけで想像が膨らみます。そんなファンタジーの世界に登場する地図を自動で作成できるサービス「Generating fantasy maps」が登場したので、サクッと作ってみました。 Generating fantasy maps http://mewo2.com/notes/terrain/ 上記URLを開いてページをスクロールしていくと、白いスペースが出てきます。ここでは人工的でカクカクしていない自然な地形のベースとなる不均一なグリッドを作成します。 グリッドを作成するには「Generate random points」をクリック。すると、複数の黒い点をランダムでスペースに表示。「Generate random points」をクリックするたびに、黒い点の位置が変更されます。 グリッド
