Skype 5.0 for Macの正式版リリース――グループビデオ通話が可能に
SkypeがSkype 5.0 for Macを正式リリースした。Windows版と同様、新機能のグループビデオ通話機能は有料だ。 ルクセンブルクのSkypeは1月27日（現地時間）、Mac OS X版のSkype 5.0正式版をリリースしたと発表した。 新版では、Windows版では既に対応している複数のユーザーでビデオチャットできる機能が追加された。最大10人でのグループビデオチャットが可能だ。ただしこの機能を使うには、有料のSkypeプレミアムに加入する必要がある。Skypeプレミアムの利用料は、1日パスが4ドル99セント、月額プランが8ドル99セントとなっている。無料版Skypeでは7日間の無料トライアルでグループビデオチャットを試すことができる。 また、1つのメインウィンドウですべての操作を行い、ミニコントロールバーで通話を管理できるようになったほか、連絡先やチャットテキストを検
