前回、あまりのエンコードの遅さに愕然としてしまったわけですが、追記に書いた通り、その原因はWindows8の省電力管理がWindows7に比べて強く、電源管理が"バランス"だとクロックを下げてしまうことが頻繁に起こるためでした。Trinityの場合、デスクトップ版より先に発売されたモバイル版のレビューで「電源管理は"バランス"にしておいたほうがターボが効きやすく、むしろパフォーマンスは上がる」という話があったので、電源管理をいじることなど考えてもみなかったのですが。そうでなくてもわたしはVistaの時から"バランス"固定利用だったので。で、"高パフォーマンス"にすれば確かにWindows7の"バランス"以上にはなるんですが、負荷がかかってなくても常時最高クロックに固定、というのも気分のいい話ではありません。どちらを我慢するか、悩むところです。Windows7でのTrinityの"高パフォー
