Stanford d.school / Stanford Design Program 2/2 – Design Thinking for Social Innovation
前回は、Stanford d.schoolとStandford Design Programの概要とクラスについて、また、結びとして、アメリカにおける高等教育と雇用システムの関係性について述べました。今回は、視察記の後半として、ワークプレース、創造性・問題発見・問題解決について書きたいと思います。 ワークスペース まず、ワークスペースについて説明いたします。ここでは、d.school、Design Programに加えて、同じパロアルト市内にあるIDEO本社、さらに、オークランドに位置する(Jobsがデザインした)Pixar本社におけるワークスペースについて説明をしたいと思います。 d.school d.schoolは、クラスのみですので、当然ながらコラボレーションスペースのみがワークスペースです。しかしながら、そのスペースにはIDEO仕込みの様々な工夫が施されています。 デスクやチェア、
