現代的な鉄のロードバイクが気になる - 自転車で遠くへ行きたい。
海外の小メーカーやフレームビルダーのサイトを見ていると思わず「おーかっこえー」と声がでてしまいそうになるバイクやフレームに出会う。主にスチール（やチタン）のパイプを使ったフレームだ。ノスタルジックなテイストではなく、どれもコンテンポラリーなデザインでカッコいい。今、こういった現代的なスチールフレームは国内ではあまり見かけないように思う。 今一番気になるのはStijn cyclesというブランド。BD-1の最新モデルをデザインしたフランダース人（ベルギー北部の人ですね）デザイナーが立ち上げたブランドで、昨年12月に開催されたサイクルモードにブースも出していた。パイプはコロンバスのものを使っており、いわゆるクロモリだけでなくステンレスのパイプを使ったモデルもある。実際に作っているビルダー（いわゆる職人さん）はオランダ人の元プロレーサーらしい。 デザイン的なポイントはトップチューブに付けられたハ
