P2Pによるアダルトビデオの普及 「90年代末～21世紀初頭がA片の絶頂期だった」。中国で人気の日本製アダルトビデオ（AV。中国の隠語でA片）、その海賊版販売業者は語る。「だが、2007年前後からの政府の取り締まりと、ネットの普及で私たち業者は奈落の底に落とされた」。代わりに台頭したのが、「BitTorrent」をはじめとしたP2Pソフトの台頭である。今や3億人超が利用するネット回線のほとんどがブロードバンドだ。 CNNIC（China Internet Network Information Center）が今年3月に発表した「2008～2009年中国青少年ネット行為研究報告（2008-2009年中国青少年上網行為研究報告）（関連サイト）」によれば、2008年末時点で2億9800万人のインターネット利用者のうち、全体の55.9％にあたる1億6700万人が6歳～24歳以下の利用者である。
