(October 3, 2008 - OTTAWA, ON) – For a recent school assignment, Mairi Liska was asked to write a paper on someone she admired. Mairi wrote her paper on the reining World Champion, Jeff Buttle. Mairi lives in Ottawa, Ontario and is currently in the seventh grade. Both she and her twin sister (Tayah) participated in the CanSkate program provided by Skate Canada.
