This is an archive featuring interactive experiments I created in 2011, at the time when I was learning WebGL, shader programming and 3D math. The demos below and the 3d rendering engine code that runs them are inspired by various features of Unity. I used Unity since 2009 and it was one of my favourite pieces of software at the time. Ten years later, in 2022, I reviewed the demos, fixed a few lit

This is photo particles. I wondered what would happen if I broke an image down into particles, and had three centres: red, green and blue. Each particle would be attracted to or repelled by the centres depending on how much of each component colour they contain. I recommend square images, like this one. And this uses three.js, so a massive thanks to Mr. doob. Tweet
This experiment is no longer active, but you can still learn about it on this page. “3 Dreams of Black” takes you on a journey through three dream worlds constructed through a combination of rich 2D drawings and animations interwoven with interactive 3D sequences. Throughout various points in these dream worlds, you can grab your mouse and guide the protagonist’s point of view through the experien
