Apple、「iPhone」商標侵害で訴えられる
米Cisco Systemsは1月10日、米Appleを商標侵害で訴えた。 同社は米カリフォルニア州北地区の連邦地裁に訴状を提出、同社の登録商標「iPhone」をAppleが侵害していると訴えている。同社は、AppleによるiPhone商標の複製と使用を禁止する差し止めによる救済を求めている。 Appleは9日、「iPhone」という名称の携帯電話を発表した（1月10日の記事参照）。Ciscoはこのとき、「AppleがiPhoneを発表したということは、（Ciscoとの商標使用）契約に応じるつもりがあるということだと受け取っている。9日中にはAppleの署名が入った契約書を受け取る見込みだ」とコメントしていた。しかし、結局Appleは契約にサインしなかったようだ。 Ciscoは2000年にInfogearの買収を通じてiPhoneの商標を取得した。Infogearは1996年3月にiPho
