グーグル、コンテンツファーム対策Chrome拡張機能を公開
Googleは、コンテンツファームに対抗するための「Google Chrome」向け拡張機能、「Personal Blocklist」をリリースした。この機能を使うと、ユーザーは特定のドメインをブロックして、パーソナライズされた検索結果リストに現れないようにすることができる。また、GoogleのプリンシパルエンジニアMatt Cutts氏はブログ記事において、Googleはユーザーがフラグをつけたドメインを追跡し、同社の「検索結果に対するランク付け要素としての利用の可能性を調査する」と述べている。 Cutts氏は1月、Googleの検索結果に表示されることのみを目的としたコンテンツを掲載しているコンテンツファームと呼ばれるウェブサイトに対し、措置を講じると表明していた。 GoogleはPersonal Blocklistを「初期のテスト」で「実験的」だとしている。Personal Bloc
