デジタル・アドバタイジング・コンソーシアム(DAC)は1月26日、アイスタイルとともに設立した関連会社、アイメディアドライブ(iMD)と共同で、行動ターゲティング広告(BTA)の広告効果を検証するための調査を実施し、BATの効果の高さを実証できたと発表した。 BTA(Behavioral Targeting AD)とは「行動ターゲティング広告」と呼び、ウェブサイトでの行動履歴情報をもとにユーザーをセグメント化し、そのセグメントに応じて最適な広告を配信するマーケティング手法。DACとiMDでは、米Revenue Science(RSI)の技術を用いて、ウェブ広告ネットワーク(impActネットワーク)におけるBTAサービスを開発し、2006年5月より販売している。 今回の調査によると、BTA対象者には、非対象者と比べ、車に「とても興味・関心がある」ユーザーが3.2倍多く含まれるなど、すべての
