今回はモバイルインターネットの収益モデルについて考察を加えたい。モバイルに限らず、インターネットの収益モデルは「ユーザー課金ビジネス」「広告ビジネス」「物販ビジネス」の3つに大別できると考えている。多くのビジネスはその延長線上か、コンビネーション（2つないしは3つの要素を掛け合わせた形）で存在する。なお、ここでは企業などのプロモーションサイトも広告ビジネスの一環ととらえて考えている。 これらの分野について、今後のマーケット規模の予測はいくつかの企業が出している。例えば、野村総合研究所は、ユーザー課金のモバイルコンテンツ市場規模が2007年度の3530億円から2011年度には3864億円になると予測している。 また、電通総研の試算では、モバイルインターネット広告市場規模は2011年に1284億円になるという。ユーザー課金ビジネスと広告ビジネスを合わせると2011年に約5000億円規模のマーケ
