■ [infra] サーバー監視サービスあれこれ 社内で動かしているサーバー群を監視する手段をちょっと検討している。 とりあえず内部的な監視については munin で何とかなるかなあという感じだけど、専属のインフラエンジニアがいない弊社だと、もっと手軽にホスト名を指定するだけで監視できるようにもしたいので外部のサービスで監視できないものか調べてみた。 軽く分類するとサーバー監視には2種類存在していて"アクティブチェック"と呼ばれる監視システムが巡回して確認するタイプと"パッシブチェック"という監視対象のサーバーが情報を監視サーバーに送信するタイプがある。 アクティブチェック型のサービス これは割と沢山あってどれも値段と雰囲気で決めるのがよさそう。 http://www.zerigo.com/watchdog http://host-tracker.com/ http://www.pingd
