いままでのFlashPlayerは、XMLを解析したり、画像をデコードする処理を行うと描画処理が間に合わず止まったように見えます。 これはFlashPlayerがシングルスレッドだったからです。描画処理以外の処理が重い負荷がかかると描画処理ができません。 C#/Javaなどの言語はマルチスレッド機能を使って、描画と負荷の重い処理を別のスレッドに分けることで解決しています。 今迄のFlashPlayerでは色々な工夫をしてやりくりしていたかと思います。 そして、本日FlashPlayer 11.4 Betaが公開されました。 http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer11-4.html この11.4には、ActionScript Workersという機能があります。 ActionScript Workersとは、簡単に言うとマルチスレッド
