先月末の話。筆無精にもほどがあるなぁ。 2009年度日本OSS奨励賞 という賞をいただくことになり、明治記念館での授賞式に出席してきました。 2009年度日本OSS貢献者賞、授賞式を開催 − ＠IT 20091029-OSS貢献者賞授賞式 | Flickr 授賞式を終えた後、同じく日本OSS奨励賞を受賞した一般社団法人LOCAL御一行様らと肉を焼きまくったのでした。 ……ところで。 IPAのプレスリリース(PDF)によると、私が受賞した理由は「PHPマニュアルの日本語翻訳」だそうです。 が、古くからやっている人ならご存じのとおり、PHPマニュアルの翻訳は決して私ひとりでやっているものではありませんし、ましてや私がはじめたものでもありません。これまでに翻訳にかかわってきたみなさんを代表して、たまたま私が受賞しただけだと考えています。 ここで言う「みなさん」は、決してコミッターだけを指している
