The Cottingley FairiesAfter deenigee's ectoplasm, how about some fairies? In 1917 two English schoolgirls who lived at Cottingley, near Bradford, took these very charming photographs of their encounters with the local fairies. This is my favourite. One doesn't often get this close to a gnome.
