Chromeブラウザにアーティストテーマ 初音ミクやけいおん！も米Googleは10月5日、著名デザイナー、イラストレーターのデザインや、有名ブランド、ミュージシャンなどをあしらったChromeブラウザのテーマ（スキン）を公開した。 Dolce&GabbanaやAnna Sui、ブリトニー・スピアーズのテーマに加え、初音ミク、けいおん！、Good Smile Companyのねんどろいどのテーマも提供されている。 これらのアーティストテーマはThemes Galleryから入手できる。
グーグル、「Google Chrome」用テーマのギャラリーを公開
Googleは米国時間8月4日、「Google Chrome」向けの29種類のテーマを集めたギャラリーを公開した。しかしMozilla Foundationは、せせら笑うことは自重しつつも、今や2万種類に及ぶ「Firefox」用のテーマを誇っている。 外観の変化は表面的なものだが、ユーザーの多くはマシンに自分のセンスを反映させる手段として、テーマを好んでいる。Chromeは芸術性を発揮する余地のほとんどない質素なユーザーインターフェースを採用しているにもかかわらず、これまで多くのユーザーがGoogleに対し、テーマのサポートを追加するよう求めてきた。先週リリースされた開発者向けバージョンのChromeでは、オプションダイアログボックスに「Get themes（テーマを入手する）」ボタンが追加された。そしてGoogleは今回、そのボタンのリンク先であるウェブページを有効にするスイッチを入れた
