ムスリマ1年生だった頃に、大塚や広尾のモスクに礼拝によく行っていたのですが、そこでも日本人の生真面目ムスリマたちに言われた言葉や態度に悩まされることが何度かありました。 例えば、礼拝の時に長いスカートを穿いていたのですが、日本では踝まで隠れるほど長いスカートってあまりないから、踝が半分くらい出ていたら、礼拝が終わった後に「スカートが短くて足が出てるから、今の礼拝は無効よ」とか言われるわけです。 私は気付かなかったのですが、ヒジャーブから髪の毛が1本出ていたことがあって、やはり礼拝が終わった後に「髪の毛1本出てるよ。今の礼拝は無効だから、やり直ししなさいね」と言われた。 確かに彼女たちの言うことは正しい。正しいんだけど愛情が感じられない。言い方ってあると思うんだよね。まぁ、それ以来礼拝の前には鏡で髪の毛が出ていないか入念にチェックするようになったから、有難い忠告だとは思ってるけどさ。でも、改
