I'm used to using Apache with mod_proxy_html, and am trying to achieve something similar with NGINX. The specific use case is that I have an admin UI running in Tomcat on port 8080 on a server at the root context: http://localhost:8080/ I need to surface this on port 80, but I have other contexts on the NGINX server running on this host, so want to try and access this at: http://localhost:80/admin
I am running iperf measurements between two servers, connected through 10Gbit link. I am trying to correlate the maximum window size that I observe with the system configuration parameters. In particular, I have observed that the maximum window size is 3 MiB. However, I cannot find the corresponding values in the system files. By running sysctl -a I get the following values: net.ipv4.tcp_rmem = 40
Every once in a while, a server or database error causes thousands of the same stack trace in the server log files. It might be a different error/stacktrace today than a month ago. But it causes the log files to rotate completely, and I no longer have visibility into what happened before.
