UCバークレー、YoutTubeで大学講義を丸ごと配信
大手動画共有サイトであるYouTubeは、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校では重要な教具となっているようだ。 同校は米国時間10月3日、講義をそのまますべてYouTubeに投稿したことを明らかにした。 バークレー校関係者は声明で、同校は講義を完全な形でYouTubeに投稿した初めての学校であると主張している。ビデオ録画された300時間以上の講義が、youtube.com/ucberkeleyで利用可能になる予定だと述べた。 バークレー校は、この取り組みを拡大していく予定だと述べている。YouTubeで配信されている講義の科目は、化学、物理、生物学である。また、Google共同創業者であるSergey Brin氏が2005年に行った検索エンジン技術に関する、講義も配信されている。 UC Berkeley on YouTubeによって、大学生活や学問的研究、行事、運動競技などが公の目に見えるよう
