窓の杜 - 【NEWS】MS、3D空間上でRSSを立体表示するVista専用リーダー「UniveRSS」v0.8を公開
Microsoft Corporationは14日、3D空間に浮かぶキューブで各RSSを表現する、Windows Vista専用のRSSリーダー「UniveRSS」v0.8.0.0を無償公開した。現在、“WPF”やガジェットなどWindows Vistaの新技術をデモンストレーションするWebサイト“The Panel”からダウンロードできる。なお、ダウンロードにはWindows Live IDが必要。 「UniveRSS」は、IE7に登録されたRSSを、WPF技術を用いたユニークなインターフェイスで閲覧できるRSSリーダー。起動すると画面がフルスクリーンの3D空間となり、各RSSが宇宙空間に浮かぶ星々のように、自転するキューブとして表示される。 各キューブの配置は上下左右、奥行きともにランダムだが、未読記事が多いRSSを手前に表示するといった並び替えも可能。また、RSSにロゴ画像が埋め込
