Nahyat 5th DM ニットブランド「Nahyat（ナヤット）」受注会のDM。デザイナーの依田聖彦さんからのオーダーは、「印刷物ならではの質感があるもの」だった。繊維特有の物質性や多様性にとことん向き合ってニットをつくり、その行為を「嗜む」と言う、Nahyatの態度や哲学を印刷物で表現するにはどういうものがふさわしいか、考えた。例えば糸の素材感をそのまま生かす案が浮かんだりしたけれど、どうにも表面的な域を出ない。考えあぐねているうちに、久家靖秀さんがNahyatのニットを撮影した写真のデータが届いた。それがすごく格好よくて、これを生かした印刷物にしたいと思った。依田さんが久家さんに撮影を依頼することになったきっかけでもある久家さんの作品集『Mnemosyune』を見ていたこともあり、写真をデフォルメする面白さにもかなり惹かれていた。 今回Nahyatが発表する10型の中に白の顔料で重
