紙博物館で見つけた書体カード | デザインの現場 小林章の「タイプディレクターの眼」
遅ればせながら、７月１１日の銀座アップルストアさんでのセミナーの報告です。150人から170人くらいの方が聴きにいらしたということです。 セミナー開始の時点で、すでに立ち見の人が通路にたくさん。途中からは通路と会場後ろの立ち見の方が二重に三重になって、エレベーター前まで人があふれてきたので、話を中断して座席の前の空間にも移動していただき、１０人以上の方が横一列に体育座りで間近のスクリーンを見上げるという状態で聴いていただきました。 いらしてくださった皆さん、ありがとうございます。そして座席に座れなかった方、きゅうくつな思いをさせてしまってごめんなさい。 そのセミナーの中で、書体の効果的な使い方といっしょに、日本でささやかれている都市伝説「ヘルベチカはスイスを感じさせる書体」とか、「どこそこの国ではあの書体は使えない」ってのもぜんぜん違いますからね、ということも実例をたくさん挙げてお話ししま
