VMWareの昔のバージョンでWindows8が動く件、続報です。 ESXi のお話ではなくなったので、新規トピックにしてみました。 結論からいうと、動きました。 手順としては 1. http://communities.vmware.com/message/2139717#2139717 の記事からbios.440.rom をダウンロードする。 2. VMWare7上で新規VMのカスタムインストールを行う。3. Win7 64bitのマシンを作ることにする。 4. メモリー、HDDは適宜割り当てる（今回は2GB/40GB) 5. 作成完了したVMを立ち上げる前に、エクスプローラでVMの格納されたフォルダを開いて手順1のファイルをコピーする。 6. 拡張子 .vmx のファイルをテキストエディタで開く。 bios440.filename="bios.440.rom" という行を最後に追加す
