マイクロソフトが主催する学生向けのIT・プログラミングコンテスト『Imagine Cup2015』の日本大会が、4月11日、羽田空港のTIAT SKY HALLで開催された。 Imagine Cup（イマジン カップ）は、ビル・ゲイツの発案で2003年にスタートし、今年で12回目。昨年は全世界から1万6892人の応募者が集まるなど、学生向けのIT・プログラミングコンテストとしては世界最大規模のイベントだ。 最新の Windows、Windows Phone、Internet Explorerのいずれかで動作するソフトウェア、もしくはソフトウェア＋ハードウェアであること。また、ソフトウェアをホスティングする場合は Microsoft Azure を利用すること、を作品の規定とし、“ゲーム部門”、“イノベーション部門”、“ワールドシチズンシップ部門”の3つの部門で作品を募集。応募作品のなかから
