RHEL/CentOS、Xenを中心にメモを残していきます。内容は無保証。適用する場合は、十分確認の上、自己責任で。 指摘、質問、要望をコメントしてもらえると喜びます。 CentOSレポジトリ(repository)のローカルミラーを運用する方法を紹介する。 多数のサーバを運用する場合、各サーバがRPMパッケージの更新のために公式ミラーサイトにアクセスするのは、対外回線帯域の無駄だし、更新(yum updateコマンドの実行)にも時間がかかる。公式ミラーサイトの負荷の上でも好ましくない。そこで、ローカルに非公式なミラーレポジトリを立てることでこの問題を解決する。 また、ローカルレポジトリを使うと、XenのDomUのインストールも簡単かつ早くなるので、Xenを使う場合には是非準備したい。 CentOSはyumでレポジトリにアクセスする。同じ方式を用いているFedora Coreにも適用できる
