I am using the Spring Framework, version 4.1.6, with Spring web services and without Spring Boot. To learn the framework, I am writing a REST API and am testing to make sure that the JSON response received from hitting an endpoint is correct. BufferedReader vs Console vs Scanner
I'm new to Java and I would like to know what is the best choice to read user input in the console. As far as I know there are three ways to do it: Console console = System.console(); BufferedReader input = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in)); Scanner reader = new Scanner(System.in); Which one should I choose? Why that one and not the other ones?
