当社は、本日、インドのジンダル・サウス・ウェスト（ＪＳＷ）グループ、東芝ジェイエスダブリュータービン・発電機社（Toshiba JSW Turbine and Generator Private Limited 以下、東芝ＪＳＷ社）とともに、インドタミルナド州チェンナイの東芝ＪＳＷ社 火力発電設備 新工場建設地において定礎式を行います。 東芝ＪＳＷ社は、約４０万ｍ２の敷地面積を有する新工場を建設し、２０１１年１月以降、発電効率の高い超臨界圧方式を採用した大規模（５０～１００万キロワット）蒸気タービン・発電機を生産する計画で、２０１４年までに年間３００万キロワットの生産体制を確立します。東芝ＪＳＷ社による工場建設と製造設備に係る投資額は、２００９年度からの５年間で約１億６千万米ドル（約１５０億円）となる予定です。２０１５年には４億米ドル規模の売上高を目指します。 また、東芝ＪＳＷ社は、事業体
