ドワンゴ、niconicoのマルチデバイス展開へ新会社設立 | ニコニコニュース
ドワンゴは5月7日、niconico（ニコニコ動画などのサービス総称）をテレビやゲーム機などマルチデバイスに展開していく新会社「キテラス」を設立したと発表した。 2月に100％出資で設立し、資本金は6000万円。社長にはドワンゴの鈴木慎之介 ニコニコ事業本部コンシューマーエレクトロニクス事業部長が就任した。 マルチデバイス展開ではこれまで、PlayStation Vita専用アプリとソニーの液晶テレビ「ブラビア」向けニコニコ実況アプリをリリース。4月末の「ニコニコ超会議」では、ブラビア向けニコニコ動画アプリとパナソニック「ビエラ」向けニコ動・ニコニコ生放送アプリを参考出展した。 新会社でniconicoサービス開発部門から独立した企画・開発環境を整え、コンシューマーエレクトロニクス向けサービスをスピーディーに展開していくとしている。
