先週、韓国ソウル市でユビキタスコンピューティングに関する国際学会(Ubicomp 2008)が開催された。場所は江南のCOEXコンベンションセンター。地上がコンベンション施設で地下が巨大なモールになっている。近くにはオリンピックスタジアムなどがある。 今回も、紙によるプロシーディングスの他に、論文／ビデオがコピーされているUSBメモリが配布された。 これは本会議前日のワークショップレジストレーション風景。手作業でかなり大変そうだった。 韓国開催というこで、学会参加者はアジア圏（とくに韓国／日本）が多かったが、論文投稿・採択に関して言うとまだまだ米国が優勢である。 キーノート キーノートはSamsungのShim Yoon (Samsung SDS vice president) による"Realizing the Ubiquitous City"。どちらかというと一般向きの講演で、ユビキタ
