仮想環境を運用する上で、メモリの利用状況の確認は非常に重要な情報の1つとります。 今回は、VMware® vCenter Server™(以下vCenter)から確認できるメモリ情報の見方をご紹介したいと思います。 vCenterでは、以下の3つの画面でメモリの状況を確認することができます。 仮想マシンのハードウェア ホストメモリ ゲストメモリ 最初に、仮想マシンのハードウェアで確認できる値を紹介します。 図1.仮想マシンハードウェア 図1で確認できる通り、「仮想マシンハードウェア」の画面で表示される、メモリに関する情報は以下のように表示されています。 メモリ使用率:2048MB、266MB使用 ホストオーバヘッド:41MB メモリ使用率で表示される、最初の値(2048MB)は、仮想マシンを作成した際にメモリとして設定をした値となります。 次に、XXXMB使用(266MB)の部分は、以前の
