Gimp、Inkscape等（X11）で日本語入力するための手順: 雨譜
X11は既に導入済み。 Gimp、Inkscapeのメニュー日本語化も済んでいる。 コピーした日本語テキストをクリップボードからのペーストで扱えるということも承知。 それをふまえた上で、直接入力に挑戦。 手順１、Xcode Tools（統合開発環境 : IDE）のインストールと初期設定。 「Mac OS Xインストールディスク」から「Xcode Tools」フォルダを開き、「Xcode Tools.mpkg」をダブルクリックしてインストーラで「標準インストール」実行。 インストール後、Finderを開き、「Developer」→「Applications」と階層を降下していき、「Xcode」アイコンをダブルクリック。 最初の起動時に現れるアシスタント画面でデフォルト設定のまま完了する。 手順２、MacPorts（UNIX向けオープンソースソフトウェアのパッケージ管理ツール）のインストール。
