浅倉さんからトラックバックをいただいたので、調子にのって記事にしてしまおう。 なんか最近ロングテイルということが言われている。すばらしいことだ。 ・Long Tailとインターネットビジネスの基本則 by 渡辺聡さん ・ロングテール論について by 梅田望夫さん 先日のtalking nightでも、中川さんが発表されていたのは個人の側でのロングテイル論というべきものだった。 まず、この辺の記事を読んでいただいてから、以下の議論を追って行ってほしい。 梅田さんの記事から、積分を使った近似を議論されていた浅倉さんのブログにたどりついた。 思うにZipfの法則や、べき乗則を指数関数で近似できるとすれば、指数の大小によって８０：２０ということがたまたま成立したり、しなかったりするというだけのことにはならないだろうか？一応、エクセルのファイルを作って検証してみた。 ・エクセルファイル (HPO)
