The Joy of Clojure goes beyond just syntax to show you how to write fluent and idiomatic Clojure code. You'll learn a functional approach to programming and will master Lisp techniques that make Clojure so elegant and efficient. The book gives you easy access to hard soft ware areas like concurrency, interoperability, and performance. And it shows you how great it can be to think about problems th
Thinking the Clojure Way A book by Michael Fogus and Chris Houser We’re really enjoying Clojure, and we’d like to share our knowledge and experience with you. The Joy of Clojure can now be pre-ordered, which gives you access to the first four chapters now, plus more as we write them. If you're not quite ready to buy, you can read the first chapter for free. For updates on the book itself and Cloju
Clojure in Action is a hands-on tutorial for the working programmer who has written code in a language like Java or Ruby, but has no prior experience with Lisp. It teaches Clojure from the basics to advanced topics using practical, real-world application examples. Blow through the theory and dive into practical matters like unit-testing and environment set-up, all the way through building a scalab

こないだ紹介した『Coders at Work』だが、これを読んだ Joel Spolsky が、早速 The Duct Tape Programmer というエントリーを書いている。 Jeremy Zawod
Peter Seibel's book Coders at Work is apparently available for purchase, so this is a good time to say a few words about it here. The book consists of interviews with several illustrious programmers about their personal histories, programming style, likes and dislikes and so on. Among the interviewees are several who are well known in programming language circles and are mentioned regularly on LtU
Early Reviews “Absolutely amazing! A page turner, just like Harry Potter for the technically minded.” —Tobias Svensson from review at return 42; “This book is so interesting I did 60 minutes on the treadmill yesterday instead of the usual 30 because I couldn’t stop reading.” —Joel Spolsky on Joel on Software “Coders at Work should inspire readers to learn about the wider context of their craft and
